Lee County Arts Council
Founded in May 1978, the Lee County Arts Council (LCAC) is a non-profit subsidiary of the North Carolina Arts Council (NCAC), committed to fostering art appreciation and artistic expression in Lee County through public events, educational classes, and grant opportunities. As a Designated County Partner to NCAC, LCAC sub-grants state funds to a wide variety of Lee County arts organizations. Rife with master potters, painters, sculptors, photographers, poets and writers, among countless skilled craftspeople, Lee County has an established, thriving arts community.
