Ron Perkinson’s has done a little bit of everything. Included in a collection of lifetime credits is the extended period he spent as a professional comedian. He’s been all over North Carolina. If there’s a comedy venue in your town, he’s played it. Last year, Ron opened for James Gregory at the Temple. Five seconds into his set, it was obvious that we had to have him back for an encore. Well, he’s coming back, and he’s bringing some friends with him for a show we’re calling the Circling the Drain Comedy Tour.
Joining Ron are Todd Yohn and Ronnie Bullard…
For more than 30 years, Todd Yohn’s high energy, non-stop act has blended stand-up, improv, and music into one deliciously stimulating shows, that have been featured on HBO, Showtime, and Comedy Central. He’s also performed with Dave Chappelle, Joan Rivers and Glen Campbell. His outrageous parodies and fresh, clever original comedy tunes such as Red on the Head and Daddy, Please Don’t Go are the direct result of being an accomplished musician and songwriter as well as comedian. He is one of the few performers today who has the ability to generate laughter simply with the lift of an eyebrow or the droop of a lip. Todd’s combination of material, uncanny sense of timing and his complete uniqueness of personality has earned him the reputation as one of the hottest comedic performers in the country. At 6’4″ and 180 pounds Todd is a red-headed, walking, talking cartoon. Moving in and out of two or three characters within seconds will make anyone think they’re watching multiple performers. But it’s just Todd being Todd… or Quadro-man… or any one of the many characters that inhabit his act.
Ronnie Bullard has performed at Comedy Clubs and Colleges all over the U.S. and has done numerous military shows for our troops.
