Melanie Payne

Melanie Payne is overjoyed to be making her Temple Theatre debut! She is a 2016 graduate of the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, where she trained in musical theatre performance. Some of her favorite previous roles include Carrie Pipperidge (Carousel), Norma (Hands on a Hardbody) and Cinderella (Cinderella). Melanie is deeply grateful to the incredible cast and crew for their kindness, talent, and warm welcome throughout this process. She also wishes to thank her family for their unwavering love and support. To Lorelai and Luna: dream big, work hard, be kind—anything is possible when you believe in yourself.
