Dean Dibling

Dean Dibling (Banjo, Guitar) is a guitarist and banjo player who brings a soldier’s discipline and a picker’s soul to the pit. After nine years performing guitar in the U.S. Army Bands system, he traded parade fields for orchestra pits and has since become a familiar face at Cape Fear Regional Theater. His past productions include Jelly’s Last Jam, Sister Act, Footloose and The Addams Family, along with Kinky Boots at Fayetteville State University. Equally at home with a guitar or a banjo, Dean loves the moment when a live band lifts a scene off the stage and into the air. He is thrilled to be part of Bright Star and its unmistakable Appalachian sound.
