Deana Muro

Deana Muro (Musical Director, Pianist) has enjoyed a multifaceted career as an actor, writer, performer, conductor, and music director, working primarily in Pittsburgh’s theatre community and the New York area. She conducted the orchestra for Paper Mill Playhouse’s The Full Monty starring Elaine Stritch and has been a longtime music director and performer at the Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret. Her work includes numerous CLO productions as well as national tours of Jesus Christ Superstar and Beauty and the Beast. Deana has written, produced, and starred in two acclaimed one-woman shows, So Far and Plenty of Fish. She was the Artistic Consultant for Front Porch Theatricals, where she has music directed productions including Parade, Falsettos, Fun Home, and Bandstand. Her acting credits include Funny Girl, Annie Get Your Gun, A Perfect Wedding, and Sister Act. Deana also serves as adjunct faculty at Carnegie Mellon University and Point Park University.
