Acting Instructor

Debbie “Princess” Raulerson originally hails from Okeechobee, FL but is thrilled to now be a permanent resident of Sanford, NC! In addition to her duties on the production staff, she is an Equity Stage Manager and a certified K-12 Theatre Teacher. She received her BFA from Florida Atlantic University. Debbie has taught high school theatre for 15 years, which included multiple Theatre courses, including Advanced and Honors classes as well as Technical Theatre, Speech & Debate. She sponsored Thespian Troupe 15-7319 of the International Thespians Society and took students to compete at the Florida State Thespian Festival numerous times.

Prior to teaching, Debbie toured extensively as an Equity Stage Manager, working on productions in every state but Hawaii. She had the distinct pleasure of touring with Peggy Taphorn on the Sweet Charity Tour and Gavan Pamer on the Hello, Dolly! Tour, not to mention the three of us have collaborated on countless regional productions over the years. This is a decades-in-the-making reunion that’s been a thing since before Ben & Jerry® We’re even friends. Okay maybe not…but it sure seems like it!
